Brighton Palace Pier
The Brighton Palace Pier first opened in 1899 and is now one of Brighton’s most recognisable landmarks. Once one of three piers along the seafront, it’s now the only one still in operation stretching out into the Channel with its arcades, rides and rows of glowing lights. Made of detailed illustrations which are intricately hand and machine-cut and layered to build a sense of depth and curiosity.
